Noront Resources announced the date that shareholders will vote on the proposed takeover of the company by Australian mining giant, Wyloo Metals. The special meeting will be held on March 15. Noront has promoted the $1.10/share offer after a long bidding war between Wyloo and oil and gas giant BHP.
On February 23 and 24, information sessions on two proposed roads that form part of the ‘Northern Road Link’ project will be live streamed at the Northern Road Link website (https://northernroadlink.ca). The sessions are part of the environmental assessment process that the Webequie and Marten Falls First Nations are overseeing.
